How much boost to set for K24/18G with Greddy Profec B Spec 2 & Turbo Timer ?
Auto Talent is about to install the Greddy Profec B Spec 2 into my 996TT. My question was how high should I set the peak boost at? I only plan on running 91 octane fuel. Also do I need to run a turbo timer in the car?

Turbo timer is for girls....
turn the **** and go to about 50% to start, set your gain at 10%, set your warning at 1.3, have it pull back at 20%. Watch your peak boost which is the last setting. Look for about 1.1bar at 3rd gear pull. just call me if you need help.
tony, we got the tuning covered, dont worry...

I run mine at 1.1 bar at the track with 100 octane. but I am trying to be cautious. my AFR's at WOT are about 11-12.
I think with the low octane you have I sure would not run much above 1.1. and the car has sooo much power at that level.

I agree with Tom and others. I set mine for about 1.18 peak on 93 octane and have plenty of power...I don't feel the need to turn up the boost any higher. I will run 1.24-1.28 on 104 race fuel, but honestly, I am not sure I can feel the difference...

I am just trying to get a general consensus on how much peak boost the car should be running.
