1998 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster.

This is my buddys twin supercharged, 730+HP, all-wheel drive car and he just got all the seals replaced and straight pipes. We went for a little jaunt around town. It is funny how slow you have to go because of all the people crowding around you just trying to get a look.

This car is an absolute beast. 0-60 in first in around 2.5 seconds... 90 in second... 140 in third... 175 in 4th... and who knows in 5th... Joe's driven it up to 198 which has got to be close to the top.

We had a Z06, a camaro, and a Mitsu Eclipse trying to screw with us... what the hell are they thinking. This has got to be one of the 10 fastest cars on the planet. It doesnt even sound like a car with the blow-offs on the super chargers. It makes you think that you've done something wrong when you let of the gas on a shift.

Sorry no photos because my camera is in NY getting calibrated by Canon but here are a few shots from a while back.

Sweet ride. I've always loved the lines on the Lambo. Have a 5' framed poster in my office since mid80's of a Countach (the white beast). Where the hell are Crocket and Tubbs anyway?

This is a one of 8 made. There were only about a dozen of the VTTT made in the same year. This car has power from 2K-7.2K... lots of it so I can't imagine there is much that can take it.

Pretty sweet. Do you know if it uses a roots-type blower or centrifugal?

Greyghost, that car will bury the speedo, as mine does, and bounce off the rev limiter, at an indicated 220mph+ in top.

Very nice.

Not a factory modification... some place in california did all 8.

Don't know the blower type... I will check.

Don't know about speedo... i think it goes to over 200 but I have never been in the car at that speed... I will ask Joe.

Yup... 2 blowers is a dream...
