appologies for not directly addressing the question. the way to make moeny in the case would be to say you are financing through the bank betting on the lowest residual and figure the number there, and then switch to a bank with a higher residual becuase the client doesnt care who he finances through so long as he gets his payment.

Another thing discussed on here leasing services and internet quote services...easiest way to get a good deal with out the hassel.

I pay 719/ month for my M3! $2500 down, 4 year, 48K miles. Payment includes 8.25% CA sales tax. Sticker was 54K plus!

That is a crazy bad deal!

745i, not quite dude... maybe if you found a dealer with a complete "strippy" model and you put down about $3500 PLUS driveoffs. When you see the 745 advertised at these prices, it is for a model with NONE of the available options, 10k miles a year, and with a lot of cash out of pocket... however, this is still a car that stickers for around $69k.

As far as the Lancer goes, the sales manager obviously was pissed at his "weak-suck" salesman for not getting a strong enough commitment out of the prospective buyer. This was just his way of having the salesman come back to the buyer with an outrageous payment to bump the buyer into commiting to a higher payment.
