Mod 996 TT HP on PUMP FUEL ...

I am intreetd to know...do all those 996 TT mod kit like GT700 or higher...quote this 700HP at the crank with high boost like 1.4 on race fuel or not ??? As far as I know its not safe to run more the 1.1 boost on pump fuel like 93 (Euro 98)...

If not, then how much power does GT 700 kit or something simuler makes at the crank or at wheels on pump 93 fuel...

I want to get mod TT but I mainly run 93 pump fuel cause we dont have any better fuel on the roads and I dont really want ot run racing fuel all the time...

I want my car to be very fast but on pump fuel...is it possible with TT...

I am getting stuck here cause I wanna pull a trigger and I want my new car (996 TT mod) to be much faster then my mod 550whp E55 on pump fuel...but I start to think that it wont happand on PUMP...

Anyone knows anything...please share...

On most dynos my car will make around 580 on pump gas. It has full power/torque from 3.8L to 6.8K RPM, and that is the key.

I guarantee that my car will crush any 550 rwhp E55 unless it has been gutted (who guts a Benz?). It is much faster than my 585 rwho M3. HP figures only tell part of the story.

Get 997TT, they are even more efficient and more aero.

or 996TT with 3.8 or 4.0 liter conversion, big turbos and low boost

or just get a new vipe and put twins on it...

Good luck

My car, with stock displacement, made 665 rwhp (760 crank HP) safely on 93 octane pump fuel.

Twin Turbo Viper...

If I could take back on how much I've spent I'd have just bought a 01 or 02 Viper and slapped some fat daddy turbos on it

For that you would have to go to a 97-99 model year Viper(forged pistons those years)because 2000-present have cast pistons and require a motor build for any forced induction over 650 rwhp. The 97-99 Vipers can safely run about 950 rwhp with stock internals so don't feel so bad.Joe

Mike,
looks like I told you right... no one here even with a built $80k tuning kit can not reach 700rwhp.
you need at least 100 octane to run 600 rwhp on a stock motor...

Will your car run low 11s on pump ??? Cause E55 with that mods does...540hwp E55 with 100NOS runs 10.75 !!!

Not true. Peter hit 700 rwhp on 93 in his 3.8 car. But he chooses to keep boost down to 650 or so when running 93.
