Today finally I installed my new Remus exhaust and went out for a test drive...the car is noticeably faster and the sound is exactly as I wanted...a little loud,not annoying you at cruising with a nice tone...Very good choice finally,after some failures...also the tips are awesome...

Looooveee my Remus! But when you get on it, you have to admit its kind of loud but in a good way ! haha

 

I think it's 100 cell cats ... not positive though.

I have a Remus also and overall have very positive impressions of it. I wouldn't mind it being a tad bit louder, but not by much.

Out of curiousity - do you know how much a Remus system typically costs and what its weight difference from stock is? The Remus was already on my car when I got it.

I love my REMUS exhaust too.

 

The cats are 100cell...the weight difference between remus and stock exhaust is about 30pounds...Because I live in Greece,Europe and remus is made in Austria,the price i got it is quite good...I was about to buy a fabspeed(quiet) but after tried it on a friends car i could not stand the noise level...Finally i believe that remus is probably the best solution for the power rating i am up to(close to 600hp)

 

I think a 30lb savings is pretty good! + I imagine that with 100 cell cats, it should produce a decent power gain (for an exhaust)

 

Remus claims a 35hp increase over stock exhaust on a flashed k16 car...i am not sure about that,but the car is faster than before,and before the car had a custom made free flow exhaust with only the first part of the OEM cats used(where the o2 sensors are screwed,before and after)When I had the custom exhaust,the car had a faster spool up than stock exhaust,but could not stand the noise level and the poor noise quality...During the next days i will dyno it to see the differences...Previous dyno was done with stock exhaust...

 

can i ask how much did you pay for it, and what do think about the milltek ?

 

FWIW, in the US I think it might be something like $3200 ...
