My EVO GT 750 ... Cab

Looks like we are about a week away from picking her up from Todd and his crew at EVO and since the EVO GT750 cat has been let out of the bag, I just wanted to fill you guys in on what I am doing.

04 Speed Yellow 996 TT Cabriolet
EVO GT 750 package (lots of goodies)
Stage II Clutch
PSS-9 Coil Overs
Custom GT 2 front brakes
EVOMS short shift package (B&M etc.)
Tech Art front
Tech Art side skirts
Tech Art wing (Type 1)
19' HRE 841s Black centers w/polished lip
Black Tech Art exaust tips
... and a few odds and ends.

I know it was stupid to do all of this to a Cab that will not spend much time at the track, but I never claimed I wasn't stupid to begin with.

Unbelievable... why not just buy a Carrera GT instead? J/K, that is going to be so awesome, I can't even imagine the G forces that car will produce on full boost.

As we were talking in the other thread, did you change the transmission, motor mounts, etc?

Post the dyno chart

That will go down as one of the hottest TT cabs in history! Glad it will make it debut on 6speed!

Thanks guys!!! I will be sure to post pics and dyno info as soon as I get them. I am also sure this thing is not done yet. I just needed a starting point, as I get more familiar with it I might make even more changes.

Will you be using this car as a track car or a daily driver?
I woulod be interested to see how much power it makes on pump gas (91-93 Octane) or do you expect to use race gas in this beast?

I guess if you need to put race gas in the car to achieve those numbers then it really isn't a daily driver as there are so few stations or places to get it. Just a thought...

Either way, your car will really scream!!!!

I'm curious as to whether any reinforcements are necessary to the chassis with that amount of torque?

This car will not see the track often, (I'll get something else for that). I don't think cabs make the best track cars anyway and on a drag strip w/o a roll cage this car could not run. I will track it from time to time though. It is also not going to be used as a daily driver either. My office is in my home so I have no commute and I have other vehicles for doing "chores".

It will have three programs for 91 octane (670hp), 94 octane (700hp) and 100 octane (750hp).

This car will be used for cruisin' and having fun. I guess you could call it a poser mobile it is a cab after all.

Tell me what the A/R ratio on the turbo's are and I can tell you about how this GT 750 will perform and in what range.
