When I looked at the little rings, I was thinking "Tornado Fuel Saver". Was I ever wrong.
I didn't think they would make a bit of difference but they really did. The butt doesn't see any performance difference but they did take some edge off the sound. Money well spent.
BTW, I don't think they'll come out very easy.

Installed mine last night and drove the car...
Install was more of a pain because the pipes were ovalized, and I'm not sure they'll come back out...
They work... The harmonic is only slightly changed, but it's right where you need it... Amazing... I'm impressed John. Not sure if it cost me any power or not, but it def. made a noticable (quiter) difference! Now to get some Michelin Pilots put on it to quiet her down the rest of the way!

Has anyone with a tiptronic car and the DGI exhaust tried these reducer rings? I seems that the rings reduce the tone & volume of the exhaust, but I'm specifically interested if there was any reduction in cabin drone from 2,000 to 2,500 rpm where some users have reported a little bit of drone with this exhaust (as these are highway rpms for my commute).
