Stripped Evo shift linkage

today during very spirited driving. The allen bolts pulled over/through the threads on the shift linkage rod. Any other options out there. Never really felt too comfy with this Evo linkage to begin with although it has loosened up a great deal.

It shouldn't be a problem. The threads aren't required with the ShiftLink. Just slide the link back on the cable, adjust to the proper length, and make sure the allen screws are really tightened down.

I second the locktite comment. You retighten and make sure to apply some locktite on the threads to prevent any backing out.

I had a really good drive back down; two lanes all the way.

Just now got back from a visit with Ken, Noreen, and Ruiner. Ken is hanging in there...
