Resistor to kill rear wing light on dash?

Several people have asked lately how to keep the wing in the up position. A helpful board member explains how to do it, and always ends with "... but you will get a warning light on the dash."

I would be interested in doing it myself but definitely want that idiot light staring at me all the time.

Would it not be possible to rig up a resistor, capacitor etc. to connect to the disconnected wires, so the car still thinks it's plugged in? Is it just a matter of determining the resistance generated by the wing motor and duplicating that?

I know nothing about electronics but I know a bunch of you do. Can anyone shed some light on this? Seems like it would be relatively easy to do!

dbelleperc is infamous around these parts
I think that you just have to jump a wire in the wing's wiring harness to trick the computer so the light stays off all of the time.

EDIT: You have to bridge the 2 and 5 connector.
