Must Have Porsche Accesories for a TT Cab?

Hey Guys,

I'll be getting my 2004 TT Cab next week and I'm curious as to what the "Must Have" items are when purchasing the car.

So far, my list includes:

- Hard Top Carrier + Cover (Is the Carrier included with a TT cab or is it purchased seperately?)

- Wind Deflector

- Soft Top cleaning kit (is there a better aftermarket alternative?)

- Porsche Luggage kit made to fill the front trunk perfectly (please read question below)

With regards to the luggage kit, I saw a set on the Porsche website, but I'm not sure if it's specially made to fit the Porsche front trunk perfectly so there's no wasted space. I plan to take the car on some road trips and want to maximize the little storage space the car already has.

Any additions or comments on my list would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in Advance,
KJ

Geez, most guys here consider wheels, suspension, etc. as "must have" items! The first thing I'd get are clear sidemarkers and a short shifter and go from the there.

BTW, the wind deflector is standard.

Unless you ordered a graphite grey top, I wouldn't worry about stains.

The trunk in the TT is so small I wouldn't bother wasting money on luggage.

This should definitely be the #1 item to have at all times. I think it would complement a Porsche drive quite well.

LMAO

Then, some sun guard, or a Turbo cap.

Then, this last accessory, the never old lead foot. Watch out for compatibility with item #1.

Raggtopp makes a nice cleaner and protectant for the soft top. I have used each once. The cleaner worked great. The protectant has only been on for several months.

KJM3,
Congratulations! BTW,what is the luggage configuration you are looking at that will fit the all-wheel drive? Last time I looked, the Porsche site and catalogue did not say which pieces would be needed (or would need to be eliminated) for the C4's. I could figure out the configuration only for the 2-wheel drive models.

Hey guys, thanks for the responses!!!

All the responses so far have either been helpful or downright !

As for Mod's, that's a whole new topic altogether. I was looking for stuff I should buy from the dealer when picking up my car. I'm pretty sure I could probably get a lot of it for free anyway, that's why I asked!

As for the Mods:

1. Exhaust - Don't need the attention from the Cops in Toronto so I won't be getting one unless I go ALL OUT with the mods.
2. Suspension - I'll be getting that very soon! PSS-9's right?
3. Short Shift - One of my first mods for sure along with clear sidemarkers
4. Wheels - Down the road after suspension
5. More money for more mods -
6. V1 - Already taken care of

If you guys have any more advice to throw my way, I'm all ears!

Thanks,
KJ

The Porsche luggage is a total rip off....I ordered the holdall thinking it was leather it cost £170.00 and was a crappy poor quality canvas. I sent it back. I have bought a matching set of 3...same quality for £3.99 each from my local garage
