return to original exhaust

Are there any of you TT owners who have had an aftermarket exhaust installed and have gone or thought about going back to the stock one due to loudness and/ or too much resonance?

Depends on a lot of factors. I know of a couple members that have gone back.

Yes,

I went through this with a RUF exhaust. Prior to re-installing my stock exhaust, Asgar @ Weissach offered to ship me a custom quiet version RUF exhaust . I was very skeptical, but it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for....I have had it for about two years now and remain extremely pleased with this product and the performance. The only difference from the standard RUF exhaust is the outlet. The quiet version retains the stock outlet vs. the twin tips, which allows you to use your stock tips. The internal and 100 cell cat modifications are identical on both.
