4-5 Seconds before oil pressure after DIY oil change normal?

Is waiting 4-5 Seconds before oil pressure after DIY oil change normal after first start-up w/ dry filter housing? - I pumped the puddle of oil in the filter housing out, but was surprised by a dead oil pressure needle lasting 4-5 seconds at start-up, I thought the oil pump(s) were higher volume than this, especially at start-up RPM's. At 3-4 seconds of needle at 0 (in a very sound reflective garage - and I tend to listen very carefully to all sounds this car makes), the engine made a dull buzzing noise for about 1 secoind before getting full oil pressure. I have heard that Mobil one has a strong boundary layer of oil that prevents wear on start-up before pressure builds

Used 8.5 qts and when warm, this brought it to 3/4 bars oil level - anyone had a similiar experience (4-5 seconds no pressure/dull buzz for 1 sec - what was this buzz?).
