CJV -
Seems like the Porsche take to the same thing Supras did back in the day. We used to lift the heads with nitrous at 1,100 hp. Once we went with the 1/2" ARP studs, modified washers, o-rings, etc the limits have been near endless. This was with a gasket to make such a modification possible was crucial, we have now put that same engine to 50+Psi without any head lifting problems. I don't expect the Porsche engine to need that sort of volume, but I'll imagine you won't have any problems with 2 bar at your current setup.
Are you using gas filled o-rings as well?
I'm anxious to see how she turns out on the track, I've been following your build for quite some time and the attention to detail is second to none.

First 996tt to run over 2bar of boost and break the 1000rwhp mark:

And once that happens, feel free to post that it broke 1,000 rwhp. But until then, it's 970.

LOL, ok, and then when I do, it'll be time to lock this thread as it has ended
I am glad someone posted a link to the thread so I could see the dyno. it looks good. Much broader curve than a lot of the supra curves in that range, that I have seen.

I think it's overkill to seek so much power that you limit the car's usability. In the end a car is meant to be driven. Straight power is only part of the equation. Handling the twisties, road to driver input, feeling like you are in command of the car at all times. Power to get up to high speeds is great but if you're not a drag racer, what's the point...other than bragging rights. Especially in a P-car. It's not a big heavy car. I'd be happy with 350-400hp but somewhere arounf 600-700hp should be more than enough to get the car going while maintaining reliability and usability. Just one man's opinion.

I hope the wideband reading on that Dynojet was incorrect (which they often can be if a tailpipe sniffer is used), ~13.0 AFR from 7000-7500 at 30 psi.

I have no doubt that it will, but he posted that it had...when it actually had not. I guess I'll claim that my car made 920 rwhp at 1.6 BAR, since we're rounding up.
