WOW, so crazy seeing the evolution of these tuners/kits/power and most of all, my interests... I use to want that but could care less now, I must say though it is impressive!

A local guy is doing the motor swap and Stephen Kasper at iA says he has the tune/MAF covered. I had the first Super charged 3.2 (345 crank)from IA way back when but now I am looking for a bit more. In addition I am doing a new front bumper to freshen the look. The car is always and will always be a "work in progress". I added the euro rear bumper sans bumperetts, RH cup wheels, and adj rear toe links last year. Now it is go fast time. Next JRZ coilovers we will see how soon all depending on how much money I have left over at the motor swap.

Martin you are already killing it in the GT2 with the underrated 550HP.

 

When my car was scammed on ebay, I got calls and from RUF.. Paperwork showed it as a verified 590 kit with extras, was a mistake

It's a very very fast car, but I wont get into it, and it being "underrated" as there is no proof and well it starts little wars on here.

All good as I just stopped in to compliment all of the feats being accomplished and broken by these tuners!

Some C16 is on order for two or three passes to get some 150+ runs then the car will have proven itself.
As markski says more power (1000+ rwhp) is a simple matter of turning up the boost but instead this car is heading for the detail shop and an occasional busa snack to keep the valves clean.

 

the 997 TT on the other thread that ran 9.5 at 160.5 mph should be putting out well over 1000 hp to meet that number... None of the nearly 900 whp cars in here have come close to that trap speed. So aside from Alexanders car there is another now that looks like it may be well over 1000 whp...

 

It came down to a piece of equipment... A V box or something like that??? I think it is a shame that he was banned I have meet him a few times and he is quite a character.. bring him back :-) If VR comes back to H town to pick up his Supra I would luv to race his 996 (996 vs 996) !!! Tommy can film the outcome...
