when will we see 1000rwhp out of these hi HP porsches?
#346
I think the point is to make the 1000hp out of the flat 6, not 12.
But we are already there. There are two for sure that can make that power. The 9ff car that trapped 160 and VRalexander's car, which based on the dyno pull is right there on a normal day, not so hot.

I was wondering if anyone knows how his build is coming? Stephen? Also about the question I think there atleast 2 or 3 996 turbos who make 4 digits! VR is one of them and maybe Joe does?

I think Scott's old car has already hit the 1000 fwhp mark. With 889 rwhp and figuring 11% drivetrain losses that's 1000 fwhp right there. I trapped 147.6 at a little under 1.5 bar. Off now to price out a 55gal drum of C16...

Brad were talking about rear wheel not flywheel hp

I did 984rwhp at Todd's 2 weeks ago... he tried to hit it but out of ignition.
Im sure if I go to another friendly dyno I can do but that's not the point...
I actually don't care about a number which is why I didn't make a big deal about it. I am more interested in the 1/4 trap... hopefully this weekend.

We have seen 1000 RWHP (yesterday)
On Protomotive's dyno (RWD mode/DyanPack)
RobMD99= 3.8 ltr with similar set-up to Divexxtremes == 1040 AT the wheels
Markski == 3.6 ltr with lots of good stuff == 984 on same dyno 2 weeks ago
Acrophora's == (Ex-Divexx car) == 3.6 ltr with similar goodies to Rob's 3.8 == 890 same dyno.
On Deck:
Peter A's car (Dive's neighbor/friend): 3.8 ltr with ALL the fixins including Mackenzie heads/special cams == theoretically should be higher than the above motors.
given the proven traps and performance of Dive's and Mark's car, these
other two and Mark's in its current state of tune should give us some new
benchmarks. IMHO.
MK
Cheers to the rest of us (myself included), that run around in "measly" 600+ RWHP cars
FWIW: VR Alex's Protomotive tuned 3.6 liter (recently tuned REMOTELY
by Todd at Protomotive) "reportedly" (I have no actual knowledge of this, the others I have been told firsthand) made well over 1100 RWHP on a different dyno.
He, incidentally is not afraid to run HIGH BOOST.

No it doesn't and was dynoed (mustang)in awd form in 114 degree heat ......it only made 800 awhp...I would probably need to run another 3-5lbs to make 1000 on a dynojet but i won't risk it and I don't think Todd Z would do it even if I wanted too.
