Does anybody know what the difference is between the standard and the S. I am told it basiclly a awd gt2.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Standard Turbo has 420 BHP
The S has 450 BHP, GT2 intercooler/K24 Turbo's, engine mapping and ceramec composite disk breaks.
GT2 is in a whole 'nother league.

 

If your already on this board before you own the vehicle you might as well get a base turbo and save money ...then prepare to dump tons of money into mods....lol. If not get a nicely done up one, there are plenty of 700+ hp monsters on this board for sale.

 

On rennlist, there's a thread about the S having the 483 hp gt2 goodies.

 

loosely speaking it is an AWD GT2, but specifically speaking, it's not even close.

 

Close to an AWD GT2...yeah I dont think so. The GT2 is a totally different monster. The motors might be similar, but thats about all. K24 TT owners tend to complain about lag..but there is no such thing with a GT2!!!

Rear deck/wing

Wheels


Are about the only difference. There is a lot more that is the same though. Much more the same than not.

 

Except they drive completely different....

 

Of course they do, one is AWD and one is RWD.

And like I said the suspension is almost completely different.

sorry for maybe the dumb question... but is the TT quicker? I thought the GT2 is more for the track.. handling etc.. or is it also faster then a TT besides the handling
