Yep, I'm running 30's on mine, it makes pretty good power...

basupra, Tial will build a hybrid with a K24 hot side and a GT30 compressor. It bolts to stock headers and uses stock-sized outlet hose. Inlet hose is larger.

Al is correct. That is the setup I have on my car.

Isn't that already a turbo on a Evoms gt800? Has been for a while now?

unless someone makes a hot side that is comparable to a gt3076r with a .82 A/R it will always lack power on top...

M,

Not sure if it is the Evoms one or not. Totally agree that K24 is top-end limiting but a good compromise for those who don't wish to change ehxaust system or outlet hose sizes.

Tial does some cool stuff. I'm really impressed with their work. Nobody else has done what they are doing. If you consider that Porsche market is small relative to other cars that people modify, it can't be that profitable for them. So big kudos to Tial.

Chris, can you clarify if your GT30/K24 hybrids GT3076 or GT3071 as stated earlier in this thread?

It's nearly impossible to get their stuff. Evo is exclusive on the Porsche turbos, getting them otherwise is near impossible (coming from one of the 3 largest Tial dealers in the country who still couldn't get the turbos).

My turbos are GT3071/K24 Hybrids.

Have you had any problems with waste gate actuator rod breakage or did you change to EBC and external waste gates?

Haven't had any problems yet, but it has only been 700 miles or so. I am using a EBC to control the boost, but still using the swing-type stock wastegates.
