Hey Tony, bringing my car back to Chris this week to finalize minor issues, this is something I would like if you do any final adjustments to the tune, a/c on 11 months out of the year down here?

I got the book "996 The essential companion" in front of me and there is a different explanation or something not mention here.
Page 197, "Fuel cooler is installed in the engine bay in all US market 3.4 litre 996 models and all 3.6 litre turbocharged models worldwide.
The fuel cooler is connected between the pressure regulator and the fuel tank Its sole purpose is to cool the fuel returning to the tank in order to reduce fuel vapour levels.
Coolant is provided by connecting the fuel cooler to the a/c compressor plumbing and using refrigerant to remove heat. "
That was explain earlier but there is a note: "The fuel cooler was retained from model year 2002 onwards with 3.6 litre engines, but it's no longer connected to the return fuel line because this has been removed. (????) The fuel cooler is used in these engines to cool incoming fuel to avoid vapour lock caused by hot fuel entering the new smaller EV6 injectors."
Also on page 201 they mention the same thing plus another note: " The original plan for using the returnless fuel system was to reduce fuel temperature of the fuel inside the tank (reducing vapour). However it didn't work out this way. What actually happened was the fuel temperature inside the tank rose, which necessitated the retention of the fuel cooler system, but this time its role was to cool the fuel before it reached the fuel injectors."
I'm a bit confused.....
I just added a picture with the location of the fuel cooler....
