ECU REFLASH info wanted

Looking to have my car flashed.. thinking of 3 different companys... FVD (located here in florida).. protomotive (located in florida) and APR.. Has anyone here had their 996tt reflashed with any of these 3 companys? Wondering which is the better one to go with... The APR one sems pretty cool.. you can change programs using your cruise control lever... u can put the car in valet mode.. so there is hardly any power..also stock mode and then race mode... sounds pretty cool...

I've got Protomotive and would highly recommend it to anyone. The support I've received since flashing the car is second to none, as I've moded the car more, Todds helped me along the way and offered tweaks to the tune to go with it.

So far I have used the FVD flash, stages 2 and my current stage 4, I like the product and the support is very good. I know there are some very good reputable tuners on this board. What you do is ask many questions and go with whom ever you feel the most comfortable with.Good luck

I have Revo, but have seen Protomotive tuned cars in action. If I was in the market, I would purchase Protomotive all the way!

Yes, SharkWerks and EVOMs had to custom tune mine. Not sure about Proto.

DynamicMotoring is infamous around these parts
Protomotive and Evo MS are both great tuners. If you want the adjustable power levels, go with AWE because they use GIAC tuning.

Almost all tuners offer a good product. It all depends what your goals are with the car though. If all you want to do is a flash and exhaust, then it's your call, but if down the road you plan on doing bigger turbos or an engine build, you should pick a tuner that will be able to provide programming for that upgrade. It would suck to spend several thousand dollars on tuner A's software, and then have to scrap it for tuner B's software because of upgrades you decide on. Just my $0.02.

I had Giac, FVD, and currently Protomotive...
From my experience go with a tuner that actually tunes- I mean can fine tune and or answer all your questions after the fact....
