Question installing the wing.....

as we are installing the wing,i took a picture of the car i think that if you remove the reinforcements it would look great..what do you think??does it ruin anything../???

msindi is infamous around these parts
What reinforcements?? Do you mean the bumperettes?? To remove them you need a new bumper that does not have the cutouts for where these bolt to the car body...

I believe he is talking about the tail (the polished polls that hold the movable wing up an down). You can see them sticking up in the picture if you look close....

I am not a fan of the look, not aggressive enough...

I think it would be cool to leave the lifter poles in place and put on a small sign on each one that says, "Bye, bye".

Msindi, you don't have to get a new bumper. The dealer removed mine and smoothed over the holes and it doesn't even seem like it had bumprettes in the first place. Planning to do the same thing to that ugly wiper next time it goes back for servicing.

03 - Why would you have bumperettes in Bahrain in the first place?? The cars in Saudi dont have them...

Yes they do msindi. All Porsche imported to the gulf are what is called GCC spec so we all get the same thing. The cars are basically euro spec expect for the bumperettes and a speed gong that goes off at around 130k's. Of course that is the first thing that gets turned off
