One Turbo Smoking (what is the prob?)
#18
Yeah, my car sits for weeks at a time. I actually unhook the battery when I get out because it's an oddyssey and I didnt have a battery tender until today. Probably has sat for the last month or so. You think it will burn off?

Exactly!

Probably not if its a bad plug.5K miles on the track is way too long between changes.Turbo motors eat plugs.

Hi.. If you take a hard drive and it is still the same, then change your plugs. After you reconnect the battery on cars with 60lbs and up injectors or 5 bar FPR's the ECU has to relearn the cold start maps. Tim

False alarm,thank goodness.
While I was removing the AWD, I had began to remove my straight pipes to put my PSI back on because of the noise restrictions at Barber. Well I eventually decided against it and put the straight pipes back on (which BTW didnt cause any problems with noise), but got sidetracked and forgot to put the Lambda sensors back on one side.
So I put them back on, and the smoke went away within a few seconds of starting her up, then at the track this weekend got a CEL. So I figured I must have put them on backwards, so I switched them (in 100*, DOH!!!!!) and the CEL went away.
So the moral of the story is: If you are switching to RWD only to end up switching back, and disconnect your catless exhaust in the process onlyto see black smoke coming out of one side after you have put it back on........
Check your lambda sensors.
