1st time @ the 1/4 w/ the 996tt
Tough car to launch, got 2 runs in and could not get out of the hole on either of them, with a 2.09 60ft the car went 11.9 @ 125.0 mph....... I am running factory K24's, w/ exhaust, BMC filter and flash also Stage III clutchmasters clutch (might have been a little tricky for me)
I know the car is capable of a much better 1/4 mile time, my 60' is pathetic. I am just curious how the 125 MPH compares with others?

Have you ever dyno'ed your car? If not, what HP do you think you've got to the wheels. I am getting ready to do the same setup as you, plus 5 b FPR and upgraded w/g's. Your trap speed looks great. Can't wait to get mine all together and make some passes!

pilot996tt - I have not yet dynoed the car, I am hoping for around 500 whp and with that trap i think it should be around there more or less, and I do have the wastegates and 5bar as well, i was told they are a must with the setup.
Seal Grey Matte - I am going back Wednesday night, I think Tim and Eddie from RPM are going to try to come and some other guys i know, you should definitely try and get out there. I have to get my 60ft down and lay a good time down! No safety equipment needed besides a helmet and that is for 11.5 and slower, not sure what the next stage of safety equipment is after that, it might be fire suit and 4 point cage.

125 is a good trap. I think 125 and above is a good level to be at...
For 11.499 or lower my local track (IRHA rules) requires:
SFI rated harness within 2 years (I got a 6 point Simpson)
Fire Jacket (I chose a one-piece suit instead)
Roll Bar (not cage - Techequipment passed inspection)
Fire extinguisher within drivers reach (drivers side mount)
Helmet
and I thew in an R3 head and neck restraint for good measure...
After running an 11.515 with my old K16/24 set-up (now Elliots) one of the track officials stopped me and said "any faster and you will require a fire suit and roll bar". That became my goal, but couldn't do it that day, so I went back the following season with K24/18G's and ran an 11.1 on the first pass...
I went prepared with all the goods listed above, so my day was not over.
