speeding tickets suck big time

Hey, thanks for the suggestions and ideas folks. I have the Passport 9500i and it usually saves me from anything, enough lead time on laser, but it does nothing for photo except remind of fixed photo sites the next time around. The Passport has GPS hook up to remind me of fixed sites which is pretty cool. I know there's the whole V1 vs. Escort thing & I'm not touching that. I know V1 has been considered top dog forever.

Can't get Veil anywhere--including European sites. I can use a plate cover until 12/31/08 then it becomes illegal in AZ. It seems like it might be worth using one for 8 months.

The whole thing is just so darn discouraging. I got so carried away with expensive mods recently that I need to wait a bit to consider Blinder or something similar.

I can always go down to Mexico and go nuts, just have the currency to hand over if I get stopped. Again I appreciate all the responses and suggestions, and what others have tried. jaj

I use a Valentine One... It seems to have pretty good range, and unless there's no one on the road, it picks up the radar and laser at pretty good distances.

I had a Rocky Mountain Radar/Laser jammer, and could swear I've seen some cops take a double look at the units while I'm driving by, but all the reviews that I've seen say it doesn't do a darn thing.

Looks like a photo radar pointing at a lower angle wouldn't be able to pick up your plate #.

V1 or passport are the top dogs. I like the arrows on the V1 though, they give it the edge over the other brands no matter how great they detect.

No, photo radars are triggered by sensors in the pavement.

Some use fixed lasers so that would set off a detector.
