997 turbo rear rotor questions

Does the 997 turbo rear rotor bolt right up to the stock 996 turbo rear calipers? Do you need any additional hardware? Does the e brake still work? I am in the process of putting on the 6 pot GT2/GT3 calipers on with the new 997 turbo front rotors and was thinking about changing the rear rotor as well.

thank you

they fit onto hub, but you will need 4pot 997TT/GT3 caliper for rear as they are 350mm rotors

hmmm... I thought I read somewhere where they would work with the stock caliper. Oh well... I guess I'll be keeping the stock rear rotor! Thanks!

Probably would, but you would have to run a spacer, then you will find the curvature of the rotor is slightly different, to be honest don't think there is enough in it to cause any issues, but the rotor is 20mm larger overall. Ask Mike, he was looking into it!

You'll need 1/2 inch thick, by 1 inch wide by 12 inches long of aluminum stock from: http://www.onlinemetals.com/

http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant...997&top_cat=60

I used the 997TT caliper bolts & rotors, drilled the spacers I cut from the T6061 aluminum and bolted them up. I have PERFECT wear on the rotor, pad and life is good... Steve at Suncoast can hook you up with pricing on the caliper bolts and rotors...

So all I need to do is space the caliper out by 1/2 inch, and order the longer bolts and bigger rotor... awesome! AND the emergency brake contines to work no problem?!?

Thanks Mike!
