Clutch issues?

Today I started up the TT and was going to take it for a spin. Clutch was very stiff to push in. Upon pumping the clutch it felt like it was grinding against something. But, when you put in gear and release, itll pop right out like normal. Only when you push the clutch down does it feel like wierd. Clutch going out? Clutch Fluid? Ball Bearing?

If the clutch is stiff when the engine stopped, but feels normal once the engine is started, that is most likely your clutch accumulator.

If it's always stiff (haha) that is something else, which I am unfamiliar with.

The part is about $100 and it's been stated here before that quotes are around 3 hours labor. You can do this one yourself, as someone here wrote up a nice DIY on it.

I'm waiting on my lift to be serviced so I can do the slave cylinder at the same time...Typically if one goes, the other isn't to far behind.

You can damage your tranny if you're trying to shift and the hydraulics don't allow it, and you then "FORCE" it.

Contact Steve at Suncoast... Parts for Slave and accumulator are about $300-400 total shipped...

turboporsche is infamous around these parts
I have a similar problem. I am going to replace them. I am also having a problem dowshifting to 2nd gear after 2k rpm. Does this means that my transmission is already damaged?
