Thanks for the info guys. I certainly can see nighttime laser use being used from behind. Makes sense. Time for a lidatek in the rear.

It is all about revenue.

As for Laser at night, I thought I saw some specs indicating that the LIDAR device was less effective during dusk and in low visability situations - I would presume that nighttime is pretty low visability and given that they need to be fairly precise in the way they aim the beam to get a good reading, the at night ticket may be more than "fightable"
