Lou, it does not look baby blue. It has a faint blue tint to it. I can show you my neighbors boxter S in polar silver with metropol interior. I'll be back in town Tomrw Morning.

I am going to see the actual car today, so, we'll see, maybe have to pick you up from the airport in it if I get it

Ok ok, that helps, I get worried sometimes looking at pics of Polar silver as it looks really blue, almost like that M5 color they had. It was called silverstone and definately looked blue more than silver. Anyway, since you own it, I'll take your word for it. Thanks.

Lou
i understand. sometimes in pictures it reminds me of the ferrari color that is a faint baby blue (grigio?). In reality it is much more silver though. I'm interested to hear what you think about it when you see it. IMO it is a pretty spectacular color...and i'm not really THAT biased because i didn't even choose it in the first place.

there are just as many people who will shy away from an Arctic car though because everyone and their dog has one.

EDIT: most people i've encountered that have Arctic or similar silvers prefer my Polar. They just didn't order it because either they did not know they could or did not want to pay extra. IMHO there is no comparison between the two colors...Polar is much richer.

Cool, that is what I want to hear. Thanks Steve, I am going to look at it now. I really really appreciate the help, makes me feel better. I was a little worried it looked like baby blue.

Polar does not look like the M5 Silverstone color at all. I've seen a few of both to know that. I think that pic with the GT2 and the SL55 shows the true shade of polar. Hope you like it.

I think it is the best color on the pcars. I bought the polar silver because sitting right next to it was an artic silver one, and compared to the polar silver, the artic looked a little dingy. You never would have notice had they not been sitting right next to each other. It really isn't a much of a blue tint, it just looks brighter to me. I have a bunch of pics, Ill throw some up in a sec....

Definitely not baby blue. Endra has a polar Turbo. If anything it has a slight blue "hue". It is very subtle, to say the least. Most people will look at it and wonder what's different about the color -

I never liked this color for the Carrera until I saw some pictures posted here of Turbo's in PS. Looks much better on the Turbo. The regular Carrera looks a bit feminine. I would say it looks much better when you have some wheels too.

I saw a Carrera on I66 two weeks ago and noticed its color. It wasn't AS but it sure caught my eye. It had to be Polar Silver. It was stunning. It appeared to capture and almost play with the sunlight as it passed.

I think it is the second best color I've seen on a Porsche!
