I am thinking about a 2001 Turbo. Around 45-50K. It has 54,000 miles on it.
3 owners. Yeah or Nay? I'm going to do the PPI but I'm worried about the 2nd gear. Is the 2nd gear issue more costly down the road than a NA Carrera RMS issues?

What is the 60K service and how much is it?
I wish their was a 996TT FAQ like they have one for the NA 996s so I know what to look for when I see the car.

 

Should be <$1500, but easiest way is to give your local dealer or indy a call - should take just a few mins to get firm figures. The miles are not a big deal if it's been well maintained or even just averagely maintained.

About the 2nd gear issue, best you can do is get a thorough PPI done up front. If there's a problem you might be replacing the entire transmission.
