Life of OEM shocks?

I'm running h&r lowering springs with oem shocks with 14k miles on the car.
Wanting to upgrade to coilovers or maybe just Bilstein Sport or HD shocks as I don't track the car or want to mess with adjustments.

How long do the oem units last and does anyone have the non adjustable Bilsteins?

thanks for any input.

the life of them depends on you, how you drive, where you drive, ect.... i am sure there are cars with 60k on them still on stock suspension...

However - changing to a nice coilover will greatly improve the cars handling and ride. Mine had 52K miles on the stock shocks - suspension was upgraded yesterday. The car is soooo much better now. The front end float and porposing are gone, thank god!

Gotcha. I'm assuming that a drop, from just springs, would reduce the expected life on the OEM shocks. I was hoping that's what you were running.
