So far I see the following in the bay area.
- Me (FredTTX50)
- Doug (dpblessing)
- rspiteri
- EM 996 GTS
Can we get some more? I suggest we meet somewhere in San Jose.
Looking forward to the drive

Fred,
Sorry I can't make it Friday night. It's my wife Birthday. I was planning on drivng down in Saturday morning and getting there around 10:00 am. I am however coming back Saturday and leaving around 5:00.
Was anyone else planning on getting up early on Saturday for the drive down.

rspiteri,
I now have plans for Friday night so can't leave Friday. So Saturday is best for me too now. Hopefully you, me and doug can all drive down together.
I am charging my cameras ;-)

Fred, so far (although still tentative that I can get to this) I can leave (Gilroy area where I live) anywhere from 5 am to 8 am. It seems to be about a 4.5 hour drive from Gilroy (without being overly aggressive).... and speaking of that, I think that some basic group drive parameters might be helpful so that there are minimal issues? I think a pack of Porsches flying down 101 is easy pick'ns for the planes, so a caravan probably needs to travel a bit closer to the speed limit that any one of us might tend to do if all alone (even with all the early warning systems and detectors).
That does not mean that if I am part of a group that I would want to hold anyone up that might want to pick up the pace beyond what I might feel is appropriate at any moment. I would simply be OK with being the tailgunner.

Would the "pack" allow time along the way for a coffee/ breakfast / chat break (maybe in SLO)?

I was planning around a 6:00 a.m. departure... What about meeting at the Silver Creek Shopping center off of Silver Creek Valley. There's a Starbucks in the middle of the shopping center.
However I am open to any other suggestions. This should be great fun. I am looking forward to just the drive. The auto fest will just be icing on the cake!!!!!
