Saw a CGT Yesterday...

Holy effing ****. I stood and looked at it for 10 minutes and changed my pants about 5 times... None of the pictures I've seen of the car do it any justice. Maybe it's just the angles photographers have taken but it looks so much better in person than I imagined.

If anyone in the Bay Area is interested, it's at Carlsen Porsche in Menlo Park and will be on display along with Kirby's, Fred's, my car and Doug's C4S on Sunday morning.

I just saw a red Enzo at the Auto Gallery today and I was not impressed with the looks of the car. In my opinion, not much better looking(or worse looking?) than the Modena. At the same dealership I saw a CGT a few months back and WOW, I even brought my sons over to show them the car. I think the CGT has much more "presence" than the Enzo.

I saw two at the Wine Country Classic. The car is very understated compared to an Enzo, especially in the front.
The interior seemed a bit dated to me already.
The back mesh is really cool though.
I wish I can hear it at speed on the highway.

I saw Tim Allen driving his silver CGT on Santa Monica Blvd about 3 months ago. I chased him for 5 minutes and passed illegally over a double yellow just to get behind the car and look at it. It is unbelieveable, and the sound the exhuast produces could give you a boner.

I actually stopped in the parking lot with him and talked to him about the car for 5 mins... he was a cool guy, just another car enthusiast with more money than God.

I have seen the GT in silver (at Sonnen) and Enzos in red, black and yellow (parked and driving).

I don't think one can compare the cars' styling.

The Ferrari is all about S E X.

The GT is about understated elegance.

I am lucky enough not to have to make a decision as to which one to buy.

...Not because I am buying both - but because I'm buying neither.
