Seriously, the colour looks fine to me. And if you do matt black its a pain i the *** to keep clean if not finished right and you get car polish on them by accident etc. My HRE centres are finished in matt black and they are crap to maintain. Would go semi gloss black if anything.

But the dark grey really doesnt look that bad to me...

Maybe I just like gunmetal wheels, but I think your car looks great! I'd keep it just like it is.

They are 19" LE 37's which is the TE 37 with a polished lip full clearcoat, and they dont make them any more, I got one of the last production sets, the color is Mercury silver...

They are perfect.. I think I should have gone with silver.. Oh well.... If you know anyone who wants to buy gunmetal TE37s for a great price let me know. They are 18x8.5 and 18x11

On a 996, IMO the CE28 spoke design would look better. Forged and very light.
