car getting some "cosmetic" surgery...

Tom, looking nice.
That rear wing does not have side plates??? It is very surprising, they are fundamental in circulating air flow and for the creation of downforce. A guerney lip will be handy too.
Glad Bob did the GT2 front conversion the right way.
It will be interesting to see changes in lap times with the new setup.

Hi Jean - Yes the Getty GT2 bumper has the proper seal at the bottom so that we can redirect the airflow through the louvers and over the hood. The end plates for the wing were just not installed for the pics. We just installed everything today to make sure fit was good (and it was perfect). Parts are already off the car and starting to get painted. Tom has an event next weekend that we are trying to make.. No pressure.

We always use a Porsche Motorsports Lexan window. They are the best. PERFECT fit. You use the standard 996 window frame and seal. Then it installs as a standard window and no leaks. They look great when installed.

I will chime in again and address some stuff more specifically later.
also the rear aero deck and wing "could" be for sale I have gotten several pms about that as well. not really looking to sell it, but will entertain the idea!

Good eye. Yes that is Deputy Dog's car in the background. This is sort of the Yellow car section of the shop...

600 hp, JRZ's, Brembos, 2wd, another 100lbs less and A LOT more down force with less front end lift! Holy smokes!!! This is going to be one ridiculous track car.
Make sure to post pics of this. It sounds really cool Bob!
BTW: Tom you are going to paint that CF hood right?

initially going to keep it CF clear coated, will match lip, and wing.

yes a Cup car and a supercharged 911 in the backround means YOUR car is at the "real deal" porsche shop!!

Mike I knew you would be disappointed and want more that's why we are adding the ALMS front bumper "dive wings"
that should do it for down force in the front, pics on the way!!

thanks, and not sure. we will do testing with rear tire temps at the track.
also adding front nose dive wings ala ALMS cars to balance things out.
we will hopefully have track data next week.
