Robert,

I'm confused. All of the earlier runs you sent me were two-shift runs. Not three. What's changed since February that you now must shift three times, rather than twice?

Here's a picture of your 9.68 graph (that exceeded the 3.0% maximum decline) that clearly shows you shfiting only two times. What's changed?

My transmission is stock. There is some debate to why I can not get to 130MPH in fourth gear (60mph – 130mph requires a shift into fifth gear). Mine maxes out at 126MPH. It must be that since the CAB weights about 400lb more than the coupe they change the gearing or that the 2005 Turbo S Cab just came with GT2 gearing. Is it an advantage or disadvantage? I think it is the latter. You can see that I am shifting before any of you (look at videos). My top speed in any gear is also reduced.

Anthony can hit 140MPH in 4th gear in his 997TT. Barrister is also much faster. MS 109 is my equalizer to the FAT CAB.

Turst me, my car is stock except for the mods I listed.

I do get to play with the Revo ECU flash program and tune the parameters with my laptop. It may account for an extra 20HP over the race file that Revo provides.

How much HP/TQ do you think my car is putting out? I estimate above 455HP at the wheels. Who knows, but I can tell you I do not loose many races.
Hey Robert,

Didn't mean to accuse you of anything; I just noticed how negative i sounded with my post.

I just wanted to get an answer from the person who would know his own tranny. I rarely believe what i hear anymore, just wanted a straight answer. Thanks Robert, for clearing it up.

The only change is when I shift. If I have to get to 130MPH is must be in Fifth gear. If the graph shows two shifts, the two shifts were 3rd to 4th and 4th to 5th (2 shifts).

If I start out in 4th gear at 40MPH, I will only have to shift once (4th to 5th). It should be easy to deduce. The graph and data do not show what gear I am in. I am looking for the specific gear ratios for my 2005 Turbo S Cab and how they differ from (for example) a 2004 X50 Coupe.

There are plenty of other 2005 Turbo S Cabs on this forum that can verify.

I also have this graph that show speed and gears. i started in 1st and shifted into 5th at about 124MPH. 9.1 sec 60 to 130mph with a 3.1% grade and 4 shifts. Should be some room for improvement somewhere. This run was at the same location as yesterday's videos.

Sorry I was late. I waited for the Silver SG700 to pump 100, and shared my MS109 with him.
Hey Thomas and rest of the guys, nice runs in Mexico.

You and Will were on mix of 100/109 right? So how is Robert's flashed k24 car keeping up with Evo 700 and SG 700 cars. Are you 're 2 cars running right? That proto 700 997 seemed like it was a legit 700+ car, and i heard the other SG 700 was close with the proto 997 car.

They were on 91 octane with a few gallons of 109 mixed in. John has the other black SG700 and he was running pure 100 octane and pulls hard at 1.4 bar.

Anthony’s proto is also a monster and starts to fly in second. I think he also had 109.

I only run 109 in my car with a custom race file I created. That was the first time I upped the boost to 1.2 bar. I usually run 1.0 bar. I did feel a difference in acceleration and performance, but it is not enough to play with the big boys.

I think my next mod is an exhaust. I still can not decide which one to get.

Hey Robert, you're car is pretty quick esp for a cab So would you say that if Thomas and Will switched to race that would be able to pull like that proto 997 diid, seems like alot of CLs to make up.

Change of plans with the 24/18s. Got a deal I couldn't pass up with the 16/16G kit.
