New videos of today's Run in Mexico

No problem, but you missed a few good runs and the earlier the better.
My transmission is stock. There is some debate to why I can not get to 130MPH in fourth gear (60mph – 130mph requires a shift into fifth gear). Mine maxes out at 126MPH. It must be that since the CAB weights about 400lb more than the coupe they change the gearing or that the 2005 Turbo S Cab just came with GT2 gearing. Is it an advantage or disadvantage? I think it is the latter. You can see that I am shifting before any of you (look at videos). My top speed in any gear is also reduced.
Anthony can hit 140MPH in 4th gear in his 997TT. Barrister is also much faster. MS 109 is my equalizer to the FAT CAB.
Turst me, my car is stock except for the mods I listed.
I do get to play with the Revo ECU flash program and tune the parameters with my laptop. It may account for an extra 20HP over the race file that Revo provides.
How much HP/TQ do you think my car is putting out? I estimate above 455HP at the wheels. Who knows, but I can tell you I do not loose many races.

Hey Thomas and rest of the guys, nice runs in Mexico.
You and Will were on mix of 100/109 right? So how is Robert's flashed k24 car keeping up with Evo 700 and SG 700 cars. Are you 're 2 cars running right? That proto 700 997 seemed like it was a legit 700+ car, and i heard the other SG 700 was close with the proto 997 car.

Traction was a huge issue starting from a ~5-10 roll. First jump/first run, PSM was killing me. On the second run was when i turned off PSM.
Karl, you should def. join us when your car is out of the shop. Karl, check out my thread with my dyno sheet: EVOM kit vs SG kit ~ +100hp since we last ran.
Weren't you and Wil pretty much even when you guys last ran?

I had about a 93 mix. I planned to add 5 gallons of MS109 when i got to irvine. (I heard 5 Gallonsof MS109+91 runs better then straight 100 from pump). Wil pumped several gallons of 100 before leaving yesterday morning. When we arrived at Irvine i shared my MS109 can with him.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to you finally doing some runs on a flat road so I can post your times on our list. You'll definitely be in the 9's, that's for sure.

Yea, he was so quick last weekend that we were glad not to have to post any videos of his car next to ours. Even the Lambo owner took notice. When we first ran I was amazed at the speed that little M3 had. I say have two passengers in his car or one passenger and one large video camera...............

That would actually be 3 shifts from 60-130. Obviously any shifts under 60 mph and after 130 mph don't count towards the total.

We got one run yesterday. I was at least 1cl ahead up to the begining of 5th gear.
I remembered you guys were about even.
Its been too long Karl, i hope all is well. See you soon

I was a bit above half tank of ~93 before leaving for Irvine. When i arrive i was at about 3/8's tank 93 ~6 gallons. I shared my ms109 can with Wil. So roughly 6 gallons of 93 + 2.5 gallons of MS109.

You get a chance to run that proto 700 997?

Next time we can have one of two video cameras on the side of the road as we pass by. Should make for a great 2nd shot (in car and side of the road videos). I have an extra video camera.
I will pay to have someone sit in Drews car.

Robert, I apprecite the kind words and props!!! Your car is incredibley fast for what it has.
Karl, get that beast of yours fixed you need to join in, if not you can roll down with me Brotha.
Even though I didn't get to run, it was great hanging with everyone, I definently wnt to run the stage 2 997TT next time!
Dana, can you deal with that?!!!
Thomas and Will need to be on pure race fuel next time!

We always need extra eyes and ears when we run. It is good to get familiar with the landscape too. Always welcome!
