EMERGENCY!! Is there a front trunk release on the 996 turbo like for the rear?!?

Car is dead, cant get the doors to open, and trying to find the front release. Saw on renntech and such references for a 986 having that same type of release cable as in the back, but does that exist on the turbo? and if so, where is it?
TIA guys.

Negative...locked out.
we recently replaced that driver side door latch system and such. also a new alternator and battery. havent driven the car in about 2 weeks and dont have a battery tender on it. we have a solid charger on there currently via the back, but are still trying to get in the trunk.
hoping that something will then let us inside the car

'hope' that this is the issue - the rig that we did on the latch on the driver door broke again (we have the replacement part here), and the battery is totally dead...like the first time i popped the rear the alarm triggered...that doesnt happen any more. Hence if the battery is dead, twisting the key in the driver door doesnt activate the passenger door.

We have a strong charger on the battery, only its in the rear of the car, and doesnt seem to be delivering much in the way of voltage to the car.

we have checked the charger against the denali, and its rocking 20 amps+, so is there a good ground to use from the back of the car to get some kind of juice to this thing?

We have fished around under that passenger headlight and if there is a wire there, we arent getting to it.

There's a latch up in the passenger side wheelwell. Might have to jack up the car or take off the wheel to see it.

Look in your owners manual.
There is a spot (by the left side of the drivers foot well, inside the fuse area) where you can pull out a small "fuse" and hook up jumper cables to and you can open it there. It should take you no more than 2 minutes to do.

Fixed!?! Not sure wtf, but hadnt driven the car for 9-12 days or so. recently had alternator replaced (like only driven it a few times since). tried and tried to get the charger to do anything at all from the rear terminal - no love. hooked up to the starter - got a charge (lights started coming back on and alarm would trigger).
Went back to the front and found the wire under the front headlight and popped the front, disconnected and reconnected the battery and everything opened back up and car started right up.
driving it around a little - volts only between 12.5-13.5 depending on load, radio doesnt work. so im thinking there is still something going on (obviously).
figures a week before taking a beating on trading the thing in, that I'll have ANOTHER G or 2 that I have to drop on the car...ugh.

BTW - thanks for all the recommendations on the wire. It was actually impossible to get through the wheel well area due to it being taped in place...but when i came through the front just underneath the headlight, i snagged it :-)

Also, cant figure out why the thing didnt let me open the driver side door...I thought once you were using the key, that was a mechanical function?

Does the radio need a code?
