What would you answer?

When I was called to Jury duty last time, one of the cops came over and said, "Hey, don't park your car out there..." He then gave me a pass key to park it in back where they park their patrol cars. lol
When I was let out, he took me to the back again, and several of the others were coming to see the car and ask questions. They were all very cool about it.
I told them I track it to do the real speeding, but it sure is hard to drive slow on open roads. They all agreed and were totally cool with it.

i've been asked the same question by a cop before, and answered honestly: 150, and i've regularly driven it 130-140. the cop didn't care. what can they do about it unless they catch you in the act?

Perhaps if you say something more humble like "I've taken it up pretty fast, but always late at night when the roads are empty and I have good visibility of the road ahead of me" maybe they'll be more lenient if/when you get pulled over?

My brother was a criminal justice major and was pulled over in one of our small Barney Fife towns close by. The deputy was some kid and told him he was going to give him a noise ordinance citation for his stereo. My bro told him to recite the ordinance number and decibel meter reading (he was supposed to have) . That way he so he could have his professor check the legality for when he fights the cop in court for the ticket he was about to get. Then he recites the state statute number to the kid for his justification in fighting it. He just happen to remember it from class a few days before. The kid just gave him the "oh ****" look and told him to beat it. Awesome....
