this is as much as I am willing to push the hp for a track car without internal mods.
Very wise indeed

If you are getting that kit, I can promise you will be dumbfounded at the driveability coupled with the violent power through ALL GEARS. Bowles car is a full weight turbo NOT a GT2!!!!

A lot of people, me included, feel it is the best bang for the buck out there. and I do not think you will ever, ever see one negative word spoken or written about Todd Knighton's ethics...or more importantly his absolute mastery of code and our ecu's!

A 6.96. With BOLT ONS. Whate else can be said?......

Best of luck with whatever you choose, keep us posted!!

Tom
You're right about these turbos, and I can't say enough good things about them. Coupled with Todd's tune, the car just screams.

When I ran that 60-130, I was at 1.25 bar on MS103 (103 octane). The car had 24/18's, exhaust, headers, v-flow, 5 bar, and a Greddy. I have since added EVO IC's, but I don't think they will make much of a difference.

Maybe he will chime in here... wondering how much that race gas and extra boost shaves off the time.
I ran a 7.70 on pump gas at 1.05 bar. I only tried once, so I think I could better it by a tenth or two.

Being able to crank up the boost from 1.05 to 1.25 makes a world of difference. It really wakes the car up. I thought the car was extremely fast at 1.05 bar, and was a bit skeptical the high octane gas would make a difference, but I was wrong. I don't even like driving the car on pump gas because I know I'm not getting the full potential out of the car.

That is so true. I only run 100 now because of the HUGE power difference in 93 and 100. Knighton, Mark and others all said the same thing, in that this setup is exponentially stronger on race gas i.e. that is where you really see it shine.

I second that motion... The gas makes the diff.. Once you try it you cant go back to 93 octane. The car pulls HARD right into 6th gear and then some... You get such a strong PUNCH for the $$. GO FOR IT....

Ok - I've gone and gotten myself all confused

The hp people are quoting - Is that at the crank or wheels?

And when the car makes 420hp-450hp stock is that also crank or wheel hp?

JWC is infamous around these parts
The 420/450 numbers are crank figures. I have the 24/18's and love the set up! I haven't had mine on the dyno but it sure has put quite a few cars in the rear view lol.
