I have an '02 TT with a nav system. The nav system quit working and after months of screwing around with it, I gave up and disconnected it. Recently, I had to have some electrical work done and now that everything is working again - except the nav system - the clock in my display screen is off by 5 hours. I worked through the menus and found where I can change to different offsets from GMT, but it's set correctly for Central Daylight Time and it's still 5 hours off. I'm guessing this clock gets it's info from nav satellites and with no nav, it's lost. Am I right? Is there any way to fix it?

It took me a while, but I got it now.

The m's instructions are based on the nav system working correctly. It doesn't address how to set the clock in a partially working system.
