k24/18 or hybrid gt28 ?

All the 60-130 runs I've done have been AWD.
I wasn't ***** footing around with the 8.25. I had tried several times with that setup, and the 8.25 was the best I could do. I was very disappointed with it...trust me. That is what inspired me to switch to the 18g's, and I'm VERY happy I did. They are a great turbo!!!

i bent 2 rods trying to put down 560 on 93.... i feel no lag but the do choke after 6300 rpm... do u have an aftermarket clutch?? if not plan on it...

McLovin,
As you can see, the 24/18's make more power up top. The only catch in your situation is you have to send them out to be reworked (I suggest Blauch sp? turbo) unless they have another pair around that they are willing to trade.

Thanks for the input guys
The reason I wanted my k24s gone today was because I was gonna but jitsu's gt28's
But after reading everyones info, it seems the k24 18 hybrids are the way to go ...

Have you talked with Kevin about what he can do for you?

Yes ^^^. If you are locked into Kevin, then why dont you ask him.
His answer will be something with Zero Clearance in its description.
Otherwise there are now several tuners (in addition to the Maestro Knighton),
that have tuning for the K24/18g. I have been very happy with the turbo
for street, road racing, texas mile, whatever; works great!

We just ordered 50 sets of K24s, in the coming months we will have both the K24s and K24/18G's available for shops and individuals to have in a days notice to make these decisions a bit easier

Like everyone has said - the K24/18G turbos are a blast and a great bang for the buck, especially if you have an X50 car to begin with...as an indicator of power, with fuel they are capable of 10's in the 1/4 mile, very low 11's all day long with traps in the 130's. Of course there's faster, but this is a great level and a relatively easy upgrade.
