k24/18g w/ 60 lb injectors
thats what will be going in my car
now lets talk power
i think we can all agree that the k24/18g , with a 5bar, on 93 pump , on 1.1 bar is good for about 520rwhp....
being that the OEM injectors are 40lbs, we're increasing the flow rate of the injectors by 50%
would the STOCK fuel pump/fuel rails be able to run efficiently ?
also... would i be able to run 1.3 bar on 93 ?
my goal is 570-580rwhp on a mustang dyno , SAE uncorrected
btw, i will NOT be running an EBC, as the car will never see race gas

Steve,
You need the Vivid kit or a top local mechanic who can fabricate (or ship your car to Protomotive) and a set up with GT3076's and race gas and excellent driving skills and excellent conditions to run a 5.9.
Why in Gods name would you not want to run quality gas in your car?

Jamie carters car had all that (well maybe not the excellent driving skills..he had C16 though) PLUS Gt3076A/R 82's and ran a 5.93.
24/18's should easily beat a Ruf 590 (we had an RT 12 here....my car crushed it's 60-130 times) but to beat that Corvette (it is a new Z06 w/ intake, ehuast, cam and tune, yes?) properly you need GT 30's.
24/18's and a fuel system should have you edging the Corvette by maybe a length but for a proper as$whooping, go 30's.

i think we can all agree that the k24/18g , with a 5bar, on 93 pump , on 1.1 bar is good for about 520rwhp.... With this same setup I made 483-ish WHP at epl, 1 bar...
being that the OEM injectors are 40lbs, we're increasing the flow rate of the injectors by 50% You won't need 60# injectors with this setup... stock will work fine. Ask Todd K, Paul or John from Proto. The've built many cars with this setup. Take the money you were gong to spend on the injectors and install and put it towards a EBC.
would the STOCK fuel pump/fuel rails be able to run efficiently ?
also... would i be able to run 1.3 bar on 93 ? Stock fuel pump, rails will be fine. 1.3 bar....I don't think so I believe 1.3 you "should" run at least 104... 1.2 is max (safely) on 93.... but then again I am a bit conservative and if I run higher boost will most definetely run better fuel. 1.2 is max I would run on 93..... you should consider the mileage you have on your engine and do leak down/compression test before running boost above 1.3....
my goal is 570-580rwhp on a mustang dyno , SAE uncorrected I think to get to this level you will need 104 and EBC...
btw, i will NOT be running an EBC, as the car will never see race gas add the ebc especially if you like to drive the way you do (mexico runs). Find a good source for fuel (a few places in NJ carries it). EBC makes a HUGE difference, at least it did in my car.
Last but not least have you also considered a new clutch? with this power level the stock one will need to be replaced sooner than later.

I agree with Wes. Do the injectors. 400 bucks worth of injectors now can save you alot later.
At the power level your going to be at, with out injectors you will be at 100% of the stock injectors capacity.

you wont be able to run 1.3 on pump , 1.1 on pump 93 .
i think your shooting kinda high with your goals. just do a basic 24 /18 setup for now and go from there . then i would upgrade the fuel system .
and i you dont havea clutch in it allready i suggest you do that now cuase your factory one will go up in smoke.
numbers mean nothing these days all dynos read much different . 60-130 times or a trap speed tells all.

Steve Kojasevic..
I am getting ready to do the exact same thing you are. As a matter of fact, I just blew my stock clutch at only 425whp. I am going to do 24/18g's, injectors and maybe 5bar..oh yeah and a new clutch. Keeping stock intercoolers and fuel pump for now. Hoping for 500-525whp with this combo.

Tony, are you getting emails? I've emailed you twice with no reply...not like you...

Which injectors are you using? Looks like I should be considering them as well... Will I see any power gains from going to larger injectors without the fueling/intake kit?
