WTF - Ever seen a wheel do this?

I was detailing this morning and noticed what looks like a break in the edge of my rear wheel in two places about 5 inches apart. There are no scuffs in the rim and I don't think I hit anything. These are Zone 3 wheels. Anyone seen anything like this? Do you think it's safe to drive? I contacted Zone as well for their opinion.

I've seen that on the insides of wheels where they are weaker. Never on the outside where the spokes are. Regardless, I wouldn't drive fast on those wheels.

a buddy of mine had similar looking damage on the inside of the dish after taking it to a place to get the wheel mounted.

No, They're Zone 3s ... 3 piece forged.

They were on the car when I bought it. Maybe it's time for something else.

i've had that happen on my polished TechArt 1pc wheel lips before
it's from potholes

from the pics, those seem bad enough to not repair them and have Zone replace 1of the 3pc
