getting ready to buy a new front bumper

Going to buy a new front bumper for my 996tt .. was going to get the T/A style front bumper, but a friend of mine is telling me to the GT2 front bumper... what do you guys think? The T/A style I think is mean looking.. very wild looking while the GT2 is more ordinary looking.. any thoughts?
thanks

WSY996TT is infamous around these parts
I like the GT2 front, unless you are going for the full techart street look for Tunner look.

The GT2 front updates the car really nice adding the "smile" face on the upper grille.

Such a tough choice......I love both bumpers but my problem with the GT2 bumper is that we have turbos not GT2's .... and my problem with the Techart bumper is that I think its a little to much for a P-Car, unless like WSY996TT said, you do the full kit... then it just looks bad ***. I am in the same situation and I think im going to save up and get either the Gemballa or RUF front bumper. It is a little different too....

I am/was in the same boat. I think it depends on the "look" you are going for and what other mods you have. The more aggressive/mean look is the TA while the cleaner/more "sophisticated" look is the GT2. All depends on the look you're going for...for me, I'm going with the TA.

Where are you planning on getting the GT2 bumper? I've seen some replicas and they don't look very good imo

Both are great looks. The GT2 is original and pure Porsche, the TA is tuner aggressive. I previously had the GT2 but ultimately went with the TA full GT Street conversion. Either way you cant go wrong.

go TA unless you are doing the full front end GT2 conversion so you dont look like a poser.

you can see Harolds above and mine for good comparison. I think the TA looks better! just not for me!!

Could you please elaborate on the full GT2 Front Conversion? Are you talking radiators, hoses, etc?

well if I do the T/A style front bumper I was also doing the sides and a GT2 decklid and wing.. so I guess it would be a full T/A style look except for the rear bumper... If I do the GT2 bumper will also do the GT2 decklid wing, I think it will be thru mashaw and if its the T/A style it will be with Misha or precision porsche

yes, larger radiator in front with different brackets and angled back for better cooling and down force. also larger new ducting.
