amazing video...Howeveer this comparison was not even...i mean they should compare a 986s with the 996 3.4 It was wrong to compare a PASM and PCCB 987 limited edition S with a 996 3.4 standard suspension...Funny thing is that 996 was faster...amazing...

Which in my mind validates it even more... Could you imagine the gap in time between the Boxster LTD and a stock 996TT??

I just purchased a stock Boxster with 17" stock tires and I have to say I am absolutely amazed at the light and neutral feeling of the Boxster. I havn't had it at the track yet, but I was giddy with the crazy amount of grip on high speed exit ramps.

I love my twin turbo and it is so easy to drive, forgiving with PASM, and super quick, but it demonstrates understeer at the limit, and handles like a boat at the autocross.

I can't wait to push the Boxster to the limit to see what happens, so far the stock car hasn't even squealed the tires and seems absolutely neutral, and it seems to corner as well as my TT, and it isn't even an "S" model!

Anyone have experience with the handling of both cars as a comparison?
I would concentrate on learning how to drive your TT. it will but much more rewarding.

the way this should read is this (as it happens for me)...

well I just drove a boxster today at the track after my TT. I fell asleep in it it was so slow. your feelings are false. you drove a midengine lesser hp car so it gave you more confidence but your lap times were slower by a lot.

I repeat myself, for more fun then you will have in your lifetime, try to take your TT to the limit, I dare you. you wont be talking about boxsters anymore!!

live2shift is infamous around these parts
That was great Tom!! I have driven the TT to my limit and I have found that the understeer gets old. I am going to try to dial it out a bit by softening up the front suspension and see what happens. I will be doing a DE at New Hampshire Speedway next week, but I was going to take the Boxster just to try something different. The TT is so damn fast it kind of takes the fun out of it, being able to pass people like they are standing still!!
