joshv911 is infamous around these parts
I've been thinking of building a similar style car, but have been debating on the platform. I'm wanting a stripped down street/track car, with the wide body look that these cars have, but probably going with fiberglass and using a 3.6 air-cooled engine. I've thought about starting with an early 70s 911 because of how light the chassis is, and thought about a c2 964 because I could strip it down and would have the engine and transmission I wanted. I know it would be a costly and painful process, but which platform would be the most cost effective, with the least headaches? Any suggestions?
