B) I would echo most everyone else to stay away. Yes, people can change, but if he was comfortable stealing from his customers, that says alot about a man's integrity.

Heffners Performance is another good viper tuner.

Back in 2002-2003 I was starting to search for either a Viper or a Corvette to play with and stumbled across a lot of bad press on him... He was accused of threatening people, selling parts off the cars he was modding, not delivering cars in the timeframe promised, and in some cases not at all... It got so bad on one Corvette forum that a lawyer was brought in and the thread was "frozen" as evidence for a law suit because some folks from both sides got into it in the thread...
Now, I'd "heard" from a couple of people in late 2006, when I was again shopping Vipers, that he had cleaned up his act and had really taken the positive press given his cars by all the magazines and seen it as a second chance to "get it right"... I hope that's the case. The reason I say that is the guy has a gold mine sitting there if he can just "BE" a good business man. Having the ability to tune and wrench a car is nothing if you are doing it for a living and don't have the business process down cold.
Some of you guys might remember Peter Farrell Supercars, an RX7 Tuner shop out of northern Va. Another guy who got great business "chances" from the media back in the late 80s and early 90s... Now days his business is a general "mechanic" shop. His reputation locally in the RX7 community is "Don't go to him"...
