Roof rack for wheels

Well, does something like this excist for the 996s? Would be perfect for brining a set of track wheels... Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I've seen a few guys who have used the factory roof rack and a custom made platform to hold 4 track wheels.

One was made of wood and mounted to the factory roof rack cross bars, and the other was an aluminum bar set up that bolted to the factory cross bars.

How many can you get in if you remove passenger seat, I'm tempted Marius as one it lighten slightly and two it would save me given anyone a passenger ride, lol.

That may be a solution, but would prefer something ready to transport!

That may be an option, but my friends would kill me Out with the seat, and the cage, and you should easly get four tires into the car... but I think i'll keep both the cage and the seat

Hi all. Until I went back to street tires I used this rack.
It's for sale, complete and with straps: $500

On or off the car in 2 minutes. Stable at 80mph.

I'm in Northern Cal.

I've seen guys do this, so I know it can be done.
Just don't stop too fast when on the brakes in traffic.

The ones I've seen had more of a cage around the wheels for support and reduction of possible movement...

Mine uses tie-down straps, connecting the wheels and to the rack in the middle.
Hard to see, but those wheels aren't going *anywhere*. If you look closely under
the wheels you see a little of the straps under the centers of the wheels and
on top across the tires connecting the centers.
