You need to place the blame where it belongs. Please name the tuner who do not install the suspension correctly. You going to blame the engine builder if the person who lowers your engine to install your exhaust forgets to raise it before you drive off? This question is being ignored. Just state who pulled the bone headed move.
The carbon fiber intake didn't move and hit the suspension. The suspension is not suppose to move. The tuner who installed the suspension had to be a novice.
I am sorry but no ones intake makes half the power of the S Car Go intake. Aluminum is a great heat. It robs power plain and simple. What is even funnier .... look at what some of these kits use for hoses. They are not smooth, in many cases they look like vacuum hose. Flow test them against the S Car Go unit. The ones I have seen do poorly.

I have alot of respect for Roger. We have talked on occassions. The S Car Go part is a true racing part. It will break if impacted. It does produce far more power by itself than anything else like it on the market.
The problem is you must use the backup nuts on the suspension. You must also tighten them and use Locktite. Granted, if you have another intake and the suspension moves which it is not suppose to do and can be dangerous under certain circumstances, it will not break.
If the installations instructions are followed, there is no problem.
There is only a problem when the instructions are not followed or someone buy's a system second hand without being aware of what "must" be done for a safe installation.
I guess I got my feathers ruffled when it was insinuated that Xico "got screwed" by S Car Go. I can tell you this from first hand experience, before it was known that a loose suspension could damage the carbon fiber, S Car Go installed this intake on Fred's car. They did not install the suspension and it was loose and it broke the cf and damaged the turbo. Although not S Car Go's fault for the suspension, they realized it was their fault for not providing a written warning about the suspension with the product. They paid for the damages to that car. They also provided written instructions as to what must be done to avoid this from happening again.
If you have this intake and anyone works on your suspension, you need to make them aware. I guess you can say this is the price of the extra 24-26 hp you obtain.
