Also, many of the teams running in Speed GT and others which allow extensive suspension mods are all upgrading to newer uprights, control arms, subframes, etc. from either the 997 Cup or RSR.

Look at the level of improvement from the GT3-R to RS to RSR to the current GT3-RSR. The inherent geometry in our 996 GT2's is outdated and flawed. Cary was one of the first people to understand and advocate this. Porsche Motorsport finally figured this out and implemented changes a couple of years later.

I don't know if you've driven a 997 RS or GT2, but you should. The difference will make you rethink your GT2's geometry. You can push the car with a lot more confidence...
Hello and thanks for the good reading.

I have an 996 GT2 with KW Stage 3 Dampers and i wounder if you know if the 996 GT3 RS uprights will fit on my car?
And also if the 997 GT3 CUP uprights will fit?
I have heard that the 997 GT3 CUP cars have shorter dampers and that my dampers will not fit, is this true?

How is it with the brakes? I have the &-pot calipers from the 996 Cup car today with 355mm steel disc. Will these parts fit on the 997 GT3 Cup uprights?

Best Regards
Oscar

BIG difference between the two!

I have the 996 version. The 997cup components were not readily available when mods were done. Wonder if it's worth the upgrade at this point?

I doubt I am remotely the fastest " driver" here I know everyone is fast here! But I vamtell you the stuff that was done to the car makes it feel ad planted as my previous cup cars
Where is that list? My car floats at high speed (130 mph and above). I would appreciate it.
