In my opinion it sounds a bit silly to drive a "2009 model" if the car is produced in August 2008 but what do I know...
Ps. How close to Nordschleife are you? What kind of lap times you've done with the GT2? (I try to visit the place often but it's a bit difficult from Finland. We have several Finnish guys going under 8 min BTG in TF if the traffic clears a bit, we love the place!)

that what I mean: MY05 means built after the "werksferien" 2004 of Zuffenhausen, which are in August/September every year. But afaik there were no GT2 build after 08/2004.
120km which is pretty close compared to the rest here in 6speedonline I guess...
sub 8 Min BTG is no problem also with my GT3. I need to check laptime with my new setup and toyo tires soon and can publish the driftbox data if you like.

Yes, I was asking about North America production that will include USA and Canada. But if you have an '04 GT2, let me know. I would like to create a list of owners and their car # in the limited production of 24 in NA and what ever number were for the ROW.

For the North America (USA and Canada) production, Porsche build 5 '05 GT2s with '05 VIN.
Included, please find the information I have so far:
Sales for NA:
2002: 198
2003: 90
2004: 24
2005: 05
Total 317 NA production
Sales for UK:
2001: 16
2002: 66
2003: 31
2004: 16
Total 129 UK production
Total number World-Wide '02 to '05: 1061

Luis, Jeff is not a member ,but he has Jerry seinfield's GT2 & 1 of 2 GT1 & many other cars in his collection. Jerry Moore Jeff's father use to have the World's largest private car collection, he sold alot of his collection to Jay Leno & Jim O'quin(sp)
